Expuse Anima de Es Amunts (óleo sobre tabla de skate) en la bella Galería Estudio Laterna situada en Santa Gertrudis.

Gran parte de mi existencia la paso pintando en el bosque, escuchando los pajaritos, las chicharras en verano, observando libélulas, mariposas y demás especies preciosas con las que compartimos espacio. Rodeada de la fauna Ibicenca nació Ánima, una obra que representa un espíritu del bosque, una energía femenina de la Santa Madre Tierra.

Con mucho amor, empecé a dibujar un patrón sagrado sobre esta tabla de skate reciclada, para luego fusionar las formas geométricas con formas orgánicas. Sin planear nada, fluyendo, Ánima empezó a abrir los ojos y a cobrar espíritu! Me he sentido como en la fábula de Pinocho, donde el abuelo talló a Pinocho con tanto amor que su obra comenzó a cobrar vida…

 Respetando las betas naturales de la madera que se transparentan a través de las finas capas de óleo que realizo, van surgiendo formas orgánicas de la naturaleza como hojas, flores, mariposas, una bella combinación de elementos que hacen que esta tabla sea una obra luminosa realizada con precisión, con corazón,  en definitiva, con mucho amor.

A día de hoy, la ambición humana de ganar más dinero a cambio de la degradación de nuestra isla bonita a nivel cultural y medioambiental entre otras cosas nos hacen pensar en este maravilloso lugar que aún resiste, la zona de Es Amunts y que seguirá por siempre si la cuidamos. Tenemos que continuar el camino a la sensibilidad medioambiental y la vida en real armonía con la naturaleza. Hoy por hoy cuida el agua, se consciente de cada gota ya que es el alimento principal de Es Amunts y de toda la isla.

I exhibited Spirit of Es Amunts at the beautiful Laterna Studio Gallery located in Santa Gertrudis.

I spend a large part of my existence painting in the forest, listening to the birds, the cicadas in summer, observing dragonflies, butterflies and other beautiful species with which we share space. Surrounded by Ibizan fauna, Ánima was born, a work that represents a spirit of the forest, the feminine energy of the Holy Mother Earth.

 With a lot of love, I began to draw a sacred pattern on this recycled skateboard, and then merged the geometric shapes with organic shapes. Without planning anything, flowing, Ánima began to open her eyes and gain spirit! I have felt like I was in the fable of Pinocchio, and I was like the grandfather when he carved Pinocchio with so much love that his work began to come to life… 

 Respecting the natural grains of the wood that are transparent through the thin layers of oil paint that I create, organic shapes of nature emerge such as leaves, flowers, butterflies, a beautiful combination of elements that make this table a luminous work made. With precision, with heart, in short, with a lot of love.

Today, human ambition to make more money at the expense of the cultural and environmental degradation of our beautiful island, among other things, makes us reflect on this wonderful place that still endures, the Es Amunts area, and which will continue to endure forever if we take care of it. We must continue the path toward environmental awareness and living in true harmony with nature. Today, take care of the water, be mindful of every drop, as it is the main source of nourishment for Es Amunts and the entire island.
