“Cuando el alma y el cuerpo están juntos, la naturaleza ordena al uno obedecer y ser esclavo y al otro que impere y mande. ¿cuál, pues, de estos dos es el que te parece asemejarse a lo que es divino y quién a lo que es mortal? ¿no opinas que solo lo que es divino está capacitado para mandar y lo que es mortal está capacitado para obedecer y ser esclavo?
