Protein, charcoal on paper/ Carboncillo sobre papel

Parte de la inspiración de esta obra proviene de algo que leí en el libro Biología de la Creencia, donde su autor Bruce Lipton menciona que las proteínas cambian de forma 1000 veces por segundo creando un movimiento y funcionamiento similar al de los engranajes de un reloj con el fin de alimentar a la célula. Cierto o no, esto me despertó la imaginación que me llevó a pintar las proteínas como figuras de átomos vivos y conscientes que cambian de forma siguiendo siempre los patrones geometricos de la flor de vida con esa geometría perfecta en cada movimiento…

En la actualidad, los científicos no posen microscópicos capaces de ver las proteínas tan de cerca como a ellos les gustaría para poder entender completamente su funcionamiento y lograr (por ejemplo) como curar cáncer.

At present, scientists do not have microscopes capable of seeing proteins as closely as they would like to be able to fully understand their functioning and achieve (for example) how to cure cancer.
